About this Blog

This is a blog about Skippack, a small town in Pennsylvania. Skippack is a unique and historic town and I have the good fortune of living here. In this blog, I explore personal, social and business issues that concern us all, using the people and events in my beautiful town as examples of the human experience. I seek to capture life as it is lived day-to-day in Skippack, a small but sparkling speck of the universe.

    Hi Michael,

So happy to see this blog! I have been planning and running a majority of the events in Skippack Village (car shows, festivals, concerts etc.) for five years and truly do love this town for its unique vibe and friendly locals. I revel in seeing the enthusiasm of others about this lovely village! If you every have any questions about the town, events or restaurants feel free to contact me! Skippack has a couple of nice websites owned by different people. One I see you have as a recommended link, also http://www.skippackrestaurants.com and http://www.bestofskippack.com

Hope to see you around town! Maybe at the next car show!
We are also on Twitter (skippackevents)
and Facebook (best of skippack village)

    Hey Michael,

Just wanted to point you to the Skippack Historical Society and their website.

Check it out! It has some great info on Skippack and it’s history. I am a past board member and life member of the organization and would highly recommend contacting them. A post about the organization and the Historic Farm in the village would be great.
